It is reported that a China Eastern Airline flight MU5735 from Kunming (KGM) to Guangzhou (CAN) on 21Mar,2022 was crashed in Guangxi Province.
The flight was carrying 132 people including 9 crew members. It was a Boe 737-89P (Registered B-1791). The local government sent a rescue team to search for survivors immediately but with no result so far. China Eastern Airlines has grounded all its 737 aircraft after the crash.
Chinese airlines have an exceptionally good record of no major accidents for the past 12 years. This tragedy broke the good record and shock the whole nation. President Xi ordered an investigation and search team to follow this tragedy soon after the crash.
